Meet My Cats

I know what you're thinking.  "Sarah's run out of blog content, so she's writing some silly post about her cats."

That's not entirely true.  I heart cats, and like any cat lover I must share goofy pictures of them.

This is Hoggle.
He is named after a character in Labyrinth, though we usually call him "Hogs" because he snarfs down his food like there's no tomorrow.  He's always making some strange face in all my photos of him... most likely because I have a camera in his face and he's wondering what the heck I'm doing.

This is Kallisti.
She's named after a Greek myth and essentially means "to the fairest".  She's pretty timid about being pet by people she doesn't know, but when she warms up to you she's very playful and talkative.

Hoggle and Kallisti get along pretty well.

Now that you've been introduced, you'll probably be seeing a lot more of these two.  Yaay, right?

:D

  1. In Latin her name is Pulcherrimae. And yes, from what I can tell we've been pronouncing Kallisti correctly.

  3. Thanks, Tina!

Orange tabby cats are so cute! Especially as kittens. Long hair or short?
